The lessons are good. Dennis prepares the material in advance, and we go through it during the lesson. He adjusts to my level of speaking, and I’ve noticed that he rarely uses grammar structures or vocabulary we haven’t learned yet
When new words come up, we go over their pronunciation and meaning (if I don’t know them). Afterwards, we usually move on to reading dialogues. Here’s the twist: since we recently started learning HSK3-level Chinese, Dennis has been using a lot more Chinese during our lessons. Honestly, I like this approach. I’ve always been aware that, even though I’m learning the language, understanding native speakers would be a challenge. This increased intensity will definitely help me improve my speaking
Additionally, Dennis has started asking me more questions after I read the dialogues. This pushes me to create grammatically correct sentences on my own, often going beyond what’s in the textbook
Overall, I would recommend him to everyone who wants to learn Ch
