Tailored Spanish Lessons for all levels

Hello! My name is Araiz, I'm 30 years old and I'm from Bilbao (Basque Country). but I am currently living in Barcelona. I see myself as a very curious and open-minded person, with great social skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
I studied a degree in Philosophy, where I specialized in Logic and Philosophy of Language. Shortly after I started teaching Spanish as a foreign language (face-to-face and online) as a freelancer. When I discovered that teaching my language is my real passion I moved to Barcelona to study a two-year Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, one of the most valued at national level. I have taught in two well-known schools in Barcelona (International House and Expanish) but now I am embarking myself on this adventure of working online to develop and improve my personal methodology.

💡My classes are based on the active use of Spanish so that you can be confident and feel like yourself when communicating in this language. Vocabulary, grammar and sociocultural rules are learned through practice with customized activities, texts, music, videos, games and conversation on topics that interest you.

1. Discovering: languages must be discovered by the learner while the teacher accompanies him/her by providing appropriate tools.
2. Motivation: learning a language shouldn't be boring or frustrating. Realizing that you are learning something meaningful will keep you highly motivated.
3. Mistake correction: embrace error as something positive and never as something to be ashamed of. Making mistakes is a positive sign of the learning process. You will be the one finding the solution: I assure you that what you acquire this way is never forgotten.
