English lessons for informal socialising, Cambridge English / IELTS exam preparation, or business / employment needs

I’m a native English speaker from the UK. I’ve been providing private, individualised English lessons for nearly ten years, enabling my learners to meet their own personal English language goals, whether for obtaining Cambridge English or IELTS qualifications, or improving their employment prospects, or for simply enhancing their social interactions with others through enriching their knowledge and use of everyday, natural, conversational English – for which learning how to use more idiomatic expressions and other informal vocabulary is a particular favourite.

Being originally from a small town called Lymington on the south coast of England, my learners often say that I have a very ‘neutral’ English accent and so which is easier for them to understand. They also often say that I seem to have an endless amount of patience, and which they feel helps them learn in a comfortable and encouraging environment. I used to live in Wimbledon in London. At the moment I split my time between living in my apartment in Valencia, living in the UK and also other countries.

I’ve had clients from all over the world, including from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Japan and South Korea. But the majority have been from Spain. As such, I have become very familiar with the typical difficulties and frustrations that native Spanish speakers often experience when learning and communicating in English. I, myself, enjoy learning languages (especially Spanish) and which means I appreciate the challenges, and also the rewards, that it involves.

The cost of the lessons is 15 euros for one hour, or 20 euros for an hour and a half.
