I am a well qualified native English teacher from the UK and I have a PGCE in Secondary Education and an MEd in TESOL. I also have an MA in Religious Studies. I have been teaching for 15 years in Japan, Saudi Arabia, England, and Estonia. I now live in Las Palmas and I am available to teach online.

I am an energetic and caring teacher who will build up your knowledge and skills. I mainly focus on content driven learning such as CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and CBI (Content-based Instruction). Learning English through studying important topics, reading articles, exploring personal values, and sharing ideas in the target language.

My lessons are well prepared with a range of reading material and interactive exercises. Learning English should be enjoyable and part of a learner's overall development as a person - on an intellectual, social and emotional dimension.

Part of the role of the teacher is to connect the interests of the student to the learning process. This leads to more interesting lessons, better learning and also intrinsically motivates a learner.
