Online English Teacher

My name is Islom. I am from the United States. I am a native English speaker and I don't speak the Spanish language. I have my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Hunter College in New York City, United States. I am an experienced English teacher as I have taught English both in the classroom and online in schools and other various settings in Thailand. I teach English online via Zoom. I share my screen which contains the lessons. I also offer the students the option of recording the lesson on Zoom so that students can access the recorded lesson at any time to review it again.
I describe myself as an academically motivated, ambitious, and hard working person. I am a good fit for teaching English because I have good communication skills and I can get along well with different kinds of people. Throughout my academic career I have worked on a lot of group assignments where I had to cooperate with my group members in order to complete the assignments successfully. I have also given a lot of in-class presentations where I had to speak in front of a classroom full of students. These experiences have allowed me to be able to gain the confidence and the skills to communicate effectively and confidently with a lot of different kinds of people. These skills and experiences I have gained are transferable and I can use them to continue to work as an English teacher.
