Ciao a tutti! My name is Eleonora and I am a native Italian speaker and teacher. I have 2 years of experience in teaching Italian and I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, teens and adults. For a year I worked as Italian and English teacher in a company, where I carried out translations and taught English to children from 3 to 10 years old in Milan, Italy. Currently, I am still working with this Italian company but since September 2023 my collaboration is fully remote.

What is my teaching methodology? First of all, I strongly believe in conversation, reading and listening! I always try to get to know my students and propose conversations on the topics they are interested in. I also propose reading articles on current affairs, travel, cinema, and listening to short videos or interviews.

After each lesson, I send all the materials I was using during the class to my students so they can revise and memorize the lesson whenever possible.

I am a very patient and dedicated teacher- I understand all the issues my students encounter. I am a language learner myself- I studied languages at university but I really learnt English and French living in Dublin for three years and then in Bordeaux. Those experiences gave me insight on how difficult and frustrating learning a new language can be- but those experiences also showed me how rewarding is this struggle!
