Afa

My name is Afa, and I consider myself a hardworking and assertive person. I have been passionate about languages my entire life and have made it my goal to help people communicate more easily and efficiently. Furthermore, I am proud to say that my determination and my passion for languages have led me to have a native-like level of the English language.

Although I am not a native speaker, I grew up in a multilingual household where English was one of the languages used. As a result, I followed my professional path to become an English teacher. I hold a degree in English studies and a Master's degree in education. Moreover, in 2020, I took an English immersion course to improve my speaking skills.

Over the years I have accumulated plenty of experience working both as an English teacher and a translator. During this period, I have had an array of different types of assignments, be it translating documents across my range of specialisms or facilitating communication between people through interpretation. As a result of working in different industries, I have been exposed to specialist terminology and language used by each.

Learning is a nonestop process. To this day, I am still building up my base of experience and have been learning as part of an ongoing process of professional development.
