Textbooks, essay photocopies, and tests are not required for English Classes here. Along with Oxinity, the classes I provide incorporate a variety of activities solely to suit your needs, for a school/university student wouldn’t have the same language necessities as that of a business professional. Hence, the lesson-plans are drafted and picked according to your level to not only boost your English language skills, but, also, to add the flavour it requires. By activities, I don’t just mean games and riddles; they include role plays, debates, discussions, movies, music, and novels at a place of your convenience to develop your vocabulary, improve fluency, and get closer to accuracy.

A little bit about myself; I am Afra Fathima, an Indian, currently residing in Barcelona, who aspires to be an author someday. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, and I am, also, TEFL certified. Photography isn't only my hobby, but, also, my field of expertise. Talking about my hobbies, I am very much into poetry, culinary arts, travelling, and photography.

Talking about my experience in the field of education, having a year’s experience in teaching students at school, being a part of a company that conducts workshops for children with special needs, and working closely with psychologists to create appropriate content and lesson plans have equipped me with the knowledge and idea of understanding the students.

About other professional experiences, I interned as journalist/reporter at Andaman Chronicle in Andaman Islands, for 4 weeks, and in Kashmir Reader, Srinagar, for 2 months. I, also, worked as a commercial photographer in Focus Studio, Egypt. During my grad-school days I worked as a part-time employee as a content writer, reporter, and socil media marketing manager.

Therefore, unlike the conventional teaching methods used by many, I prefer creative methods and ideas that go beyond a classroom environment. The main idea is to make learning English easy, fun, and comprehensible for you.
