Hello everyone! My name is Alec and I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (US) and currently living in Madrid, Spain. I am offering English classes to anyone, any age, and any ability! I have experience teaching one-to-one and groups, both online and in-person. I have a Bachelors's in English and Spanish as well as being TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified. I am also trained in and have experience with test prep, specifically TOEFL and LangCert. I am a second language learner myself, so I am aware of the specific difficulties and how to best overcome them. I've spent a lot of hours in language classrooms observing a variety of methods and activities, so I feel confident that I have adopted a methodology that not only maximizes learning but also enjoyment. I believe the process of learning a language should be fun and enjoyable and that every person possesses the ability to succeed in their language goals. I design and execute each and every lesson specifically for you and your personalized goals. I offer classes in person and online. Classes can be grammatical, conversational, test prep, homework help/tutoring, business English, general English, or a mix of any or all!
