Alvaro Maharg

My name is Alvaro Maharg Bravo. I am a Spanish and United States national, with Scottish ancestry as well.
I have been living and working in Spain for over 20 years. I am fully bilingual and bicultural. My professional life here has mostly focused on English teaching, as well as translating. My teaching responsibilities have included teaching high level executives of Spain’s top companies as well as multinationals. With these classes, my focus has been on Public Speaking, Negotiation and Presentation skills.

I have also sat in on conference calls, collaborated in cross cultural projects and helped people punch up their presentations to be more effective. I have also trained people as to how to prepare reports in English and the general dynamic of effective presentations. I have also taught people how to negotiate more effectively in English and obtain the results they are looking for.

I believe that, along with my teaching skills, my bilingual and bi cultural experience has been vital in achieving excellent results and client satisfaction. I believe that I would be a good addition to any area which would need superior English communications skills in an environment of Anglo-Hispanic cooperation, coordinating, reporting, monitorization and completion of tasks. I am also very up to date on the latest business trends, as well as social media and international current affairs, with an emphasis on the United States.
