Hi there everyone! My name is Ana and I have been teaching English as a Second Language for the past 4 years. I worked at School as the Head English teacher for First Grade for a year and then moved of to afterschool academies. Paralell to that I was teaching some students at home and I loved the kind of dynamic that you can get from private lessons. You get to be more creative and adapt to that person´s way of learning and together find interesting topics where you can apply Grammar or more official knowledge.

My experience has been focused on kids, however, I have also worked with adults. I always begin my classes my assessing my students in the four pillars of the English language; oral and written production and oral and written comprehension. After I have a general idea of my student´s competences and goals, we design the study plan together. I like to make my classes, fun and dynamic, so I integrate new technologies, creative activities and incorporate my students´interests within the lessons. As a psychologist, I also take into account the way each one of my students learns the best and apply it.
Regular evaluations help us know how the learning process is developing, which is why I like to assess my students in different ways (exams, quizzes, activities, games, etc). In the end, I believe the most important part of learning a language is to fall in love with it.
