Hello-hello! My name is Nastia and let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a big aficionado of Linguistics and Public Diplomacy. I see teaching as a space between these two fields. On the one hand, I want to explore in depth the way people acquire languages and, on the other hand, I want to be an ambassador of culture, to promote it through the language. I hope to be able to show it through my lens. With me, you would discover Russian and English literature, pop culture, history and so on. I have been teaching Russian for a year, and have an experience working with English. I had completed a semester of Linguistic Study on a master's level before moving to Galicia to participate in a volunteering project. I graduated from International Relations, speak English, Spanish, Russian and srudied French for almost 2 years.

Since I studied Linguistics, I do bear in mind the concepts of second-language acquisition. I fully acknowledge the necessity of immersion. Hence, my lessons are build on it. In addition to this, we can't separate a language from the culture it which it's spoken. So, I use and create materials that would let you discover the country and language as they are or as I see them. Of course, there're different paths to discover sth. And in this terms, you're the one who decides. When drawing up a lesson plan, I take into account your goals, interests and expectations. Before the first-ever lesson I'll send you a google-form that would help us determine the course.
