My name is Andrea and I am from Madrid, the beautiful Spanish capital. I was living in Edinburgh for more than three years and I have been working as a Spanish teacher in many different language centres since then. I have been working as a private tutor as well, preparing my students for their GCSE exams at school and DELE exams as well.

I was instructed in the ELE method (Español como Lengua Extranjera) and I have more than 7 years of experience as a Spanish teacher working for academies, companies, online classes and as a private tutor in Madrid and Edinburgh. I have experience with children from 8-12 years old, teenagers and adults from a beginner to an advanced level in groups and also one-to-one lessons. My aim is to adapt my classes to the specific learners' needs in a dynamic and entertaining way.

Andrea taught me as a complete beginner and she made learning Spanish a fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience. Andrea's approach is to ensure her students learn 'the right way' to speak Spanish and she is committed to helping everyone in the class understand how to do this. One of the things I particularly liked about Andrea's class is that she was able to adapt the lessons to accommodate the pace we were able to learn at. She has given me the confidence to carry on and develop my Spanish further.

I am writing this in English because even after a year with Andrea I am not sure I can write well enough in Spanish! I loved my year with Andrea here in Edinburgh learning Spanish. I had never spoken Spanish before so she has got me off to good start. She is an excellent teacher, relaxed and fun. We had so much fun with her and miss her now that she is back in Spain. Good luck Andrea. You were a great teacher!

Interesting and well - prepared, I always enjoyed my classes with Andrea, even the subjunctive! I liked the mix of content and resources used.
