Hi! My name is Angelica, and I am a professional Spanish teacher. I give in-company classes as well as online. I'm self-employed and can invoice you if you need it. All ages and levels welcome!
We can use any platform of your choice. Personally, I use Teams. In my classes I give a lot of time to conversation, because that's when my students show their knowledge of the language and mistake correction becomes more meaningful. I can also develop their writing skills by giving creative writing tasks. I have been a language teacher for a long time. I have experience in teaching English and Spanish for foreigners. I have worked with adults in in-company classes and also prepared students for the DELE exams of Instituto Cervantes.
I do one to one as well as group classes with a maximum of 6 participants. I think the minimum number of hours a week to notice some progress is 3, split in a couple of sessions or three sessions of an hour each. The more the better, and extra hours of practice with podcasts and all sorts of texts you can grab will help you, too. Practice makes perfect.
I've lived in Britain, in Scotland, south of Glasgow, and worked as a language assistant in a couple of schools, but that was long ago. Since then, I've lived in Spain, mostly in Madrid, which is a beautiful city in the centre of the country. My main interests are pets, and painting, specially with acrylics.
