Ann Mine

Hello and good day.

My name is Ann Mina. I am from the Philippines. I have lived the last eight years abroad. I have lived in Vietnam, Spain, and Germany.

My qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a Cambridge CELTA, and a TESOL certification. I am a highly professional, results-driven instructor with experience in the development and delivery of language programs to a wide variety of clients encompassing diverse backgrounds. From beginners to advanced students, from very young learners to adults.

My professional experience includes seven years teaching English as Second Language in Vietnam. I have worked for two language centers face to face and did online teaching for six months, teaching Business English to employees working in the hospitality industry. I have also worked in a Montessori. I taught English to very young learners ages 3 to 8 years old.

I have worked as an online coach for an American company based in Chile. I coach students who are about to take Cambridge’s English Proficiency exams like KET and PET. I also teach Business, Academic, and conversational English.

I have experience teaching one on one and group classes for both face-to-face and online teaching. My approach to teaching grows from my personal experience of being a language learner. I am passionate and excited about delivering challenging and interesting learning experiences. I aim to help, encourage, and support students to realize their learning goals.

I am a teacher but most importantly, a facilitator. I understand that my primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall understanding. I use a variety of methods such as speaking in pairs and role-plays to assist in teacher-student and student-student interaction. I also utilize different technology to aid students in their classroom learning through the use of audio, visuals, video hands-on demonstrations, and online applications like Class Dojo and Kahoot.
