My classes start with a short introduction, sharing a personal experience or simply greeting. Then we'd build some sentences with words learned in the previous class, as to learn and use them correctly in their context.
Afterwards we'd correct homework and make some time for questions and doubts before continuing with a new section.
Once ready to start a new section, we'd establish the goal which should be reached by the end of the class. That way both teacher and student can exercise some control over his/her progress.
