When I obtained my Proficiency title, my intent was more on a personal level rather than a professional one. However, after some time teaching locally, I decided to pursue a teaching career after having the opportunity to assist at EOI (Escola Oficial d'Idiomes). After doing the CELTA course, I signed up to get my English degree, while teaching in various language schools and imparting subsidised courses for unemployed people. The focus is on the students and their goals, teaching while at the same time learning.
