Hello, my name is Andrés and I want you to acquire Spanish with me.

Spanish is currently the second most spoken language in the world, only after Chinese. Spanish is spoken in Spain and throughout Latin America, from Mexico to Chile.

Spanish is not really difficult as it shares thousands of cognates with other Romance languages, but also with English. Furthermore, its vocabulary is the same that is used in all European languages, and its phonetics are incredibly simple.

But I don't want to talk to you about rules or interesting but useless details. I want you to acquire Spanish fluently with me. For that, I use a methodology called TPRS which stands for "Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling."

Using this powerful methodology, and my unconditional help, we will co-create wonderful stories and play with them until we can have a conversation.

To reach a level of fluent Spanish it is estimated that more than 100 hours of class are needed, however, with this methodology you can achieve fluency in less than 40 hours.

I'm not talking about fluency good enough to be able to read a book or watch a movie, but to have a conversation with someone for more than 10 minutes.

I know it seems insignificant, but look, languages ​​are universes of meanings converted into sounds and characters. It is not something super easy to acquire, but it is incredibly rewarding when it is achieved.

I have a degree in Mass Communication, a mention in Journalism and I studied to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), in addition to multiple TPRS courses.
