English teacher in the centre of Barcelona

My name is Rosie, I am half Australian and half English and I live here in Barcelona.

I love and speak several languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Catalan). This passion came to me very naturally as a child and throughout my life I dedicated myself to learning about culture and language. I hope that my enthusiasm can be transmitted, that is my goal. For me there is nothing more exciting that learning a language and putting it into practice. I have worked as a teacher and a linguist for several years.

I propose a system of language and cultural exchange, whereby we work thematically and conceptually ( chose a topic/idea that interests/concerns you) each class with presentations feedback and conversation. I will use the first class to assess your level and then gather material and ideas for how you would like to proceed. I will strive to create a dynamic learning and conversational environment.

I have a lot of experience working with students from all over the world and in many different contexts, be it academic, volunteering, theatre, travelling. I think this diversity puts me in a good position to react quickly to your needs and develop an interesting and personalised learning environment.

I live in the centre of Barcelona in the beautiful Gothic quarter, we could have a morning coffee and class near my house or I am happy to come towards where you live. Please let me know what your requirements are and we can work something out.
