English Teacher from ages 9 to 18. IELTS, B2, IGCSE

I have nearly 30 years of experience of teaching English to various age groups and in various countries around the world. I teach language as well as literature. I have taught many students who have English as their Second language as well as native speakers of English. I am also a writer and an editor and I know the difficulties of trying to learn a new language since I am currently studying to improve my Spanish.

I have a degree in teaching and a post graduate certificate in learning technologies that give me knowledge of how students learn and how they can improve with my assistance.

I am dedicated to helping my students no matter how good they already are at English or if they are just starting out on their learning journey. I use various teaching strategies to ensure that I can be teh best teacher I can be for all of my students.

I will admit that I do tell terrible jokes. I feel that learning through humour is an important part of any learning process as is being able to ask your teacher questions at any point.
