I give private and group classes to both adults and children

I'm originally from the United States. I graduated with a bachelor's in history and began working towards a master's in elementary education. I completed all my course work but I decided I wanted to try living abroad before settling into a state in the USA. I moved to Spain 2 years ago and began teaching at a high school and academy here. I found out I really enjoy teaching English as a second language to students here. It can be very challenging at times, but seeing students become more comfortable in their second language is always so wonderful. I also love sharing my culture with students, but also learning from them as well.
Typically, my classes are conversation based. I usually come with a topic in mind and have a video or article to supplement it. I try to correct mistakes on the spot. I have the most experience with teens and adults, but I have also worked with children between the ages of 3-12. Since these are private classes, I like to make sure my students feel comfortable and many times I allow them to lead the conversations if they have a topic in mind.
