Hola!

I studied tourism at the University of Alicante. For several years, I've been traveling to different countries while studying for my degree or working. My great passion is traveling around the world, teaching the Spanish language and singing. I like to learn about the environment, study different cultures, and live amongst people from various backgrounds. I am constantly learning and working on new skillsets. You could say I have an educational mindset. I've been a freelance Spanish teacher for a few years, mainly teaching Spanish to Chinese and English speakers. I try to get students to understand basic notions of the language so they will be able to function without problems in a Spanish-speaking environment.

For me, education should be a fundamental tool that helps us to discover. Education must be a well-used tool to help students, wherever they come from, learn by themselves and not necessarily to repeat what they hear from outside. Lessons with me will be methodical but with a feeling of freedom of individual and group expression, where the students are able to have fun and learn from mistakes and each other. I prefer to teach through songs in Spanish or come up with new techniques, all the while using natural conversational flow which is actually the fastest way to improve and learn how to speak the language. I think that repeating and writing is also very necessary but students' creativity doesn't awaken as much like this. They should understand the framework and linguistic culture. Therefore, my strength is in all areas related to listening and speaking Spanish, more than grammar. It is mandatory to practice pronunciation, the intonation of sentences and, above all, to understand and comprehend verbal skills. I will try to get into Spanish lectures, with some easy readings, so that they can read and talk as well as share their emotions and concerns with others.

My passion for the Spanish language and teaching motivates me to deliver outstanding lessons, with a focus on quality and adaptation to students' needs. I have more than 1-year experience teaching Spanish online and have a teaching certification (TEFL).
