Hi there, my name is Brendan and I'm currently living in San Sebastian.I teach English in a local academy. I'm a native English speaker.!! I will be offering private English lessons as I have some free time in my schedule.

One of my first roles here in the Basque country was working with a business which researches marine biology in Pasaia. Here I helped the employees to learn vocabulary, idioms and technical English in relation to their field.
I have also worked with consulting agencies and students from different universities here to help them translate their thesis into English, which in turn is very interesting for me as I have had the opportunity to learn about many different professions.
English can learned like any language in many different ways. I feel the best approach is to of course focus on the task at hand but also to have fun with parts of the language.

I personally love to watch videos like TED talks in order to improve students vocabulary but also to open their minds to interesting topics and to help encourage them and show them that they can do it!!
