I am a Native English teacher from the USA and have been teaching English here in Madrid since 2015. I am TEFL certified and have experience teaching general English, exam courses (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, SAT, etc.), and business English. I have taught classes to all different age groups, from 3-65. During my first few years in Madrid, I spent most of my time teaching general English and exam preparation courses to adults, university students, and children. However, I recently completed my Master degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Alcalá de Henares and have spent the past year working in a bilingual secondary school in the centre of Madrid, with both ESO and Bachillerato. During this experience I have worked with students in the classes of English and the bilingual sections of Geography/History. I am also willing to assist with any bilingual content courses from Primary or Secondary school. While most of my classes have been taught in person, I do have experience teaching exam preparation and general English courses virtually, via Skype or another similar online platform. Let's discuss whether you prefer in-person classes or to keep things online for now! I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and am excited to have in-person classes.
