Tengo experiencia enseñando a todas las edades y niveles. Anteriormente, había enseñado niveles infantiles y de primaria. Actualmente, estoy trabajando en una academia de idiomas en Valencia, enseñando primaria, ESO y adultos. Tengo disponibilidad por las mañanas.
Estoy estudiando español mientras trabajo. Por lo tanto, entiendo el papel del alumno, así como del maestro. Creo que aprender un idioma debe ser una mezcla equilibrada de diversión y juegos, con lecciones estructuradas que cubran los aspectos del lenguaje (principalmente: hablar, escribir, escuchar y leer). Cuando el estudiante esté disfrutando la lección en un ambiente relajado y amigable, querrá continuar aprendiendo y teniendo éxito en inglés.

I am from Ireland. I am a native English speaker. I lived in Northern Ireland until I was 23 years old. I studied English and Creative Writing at Queen's University in Belfast, and then I returned to study a master's degree in Theory and Literary Studies. I moved to Spain four years ago to teach English. I worked in Orihuela, Valencian Community, until I moved to the city of Valencia.
I have experience teaching all ages and levels. Previously, I had taught nursery and primary school levels. Currently, I am working in a language academy in Valencia, teaching primary, ESO and adults. I have availability in the mornings.
I am studying Spanish while I work. Therefore, I understand the role of the student as well as the teacher. I believe that learning a language should be a balanced mix of fun and games, with structured lessons that cover aspects of language (mainly: speaking, writing, listening and reading). When the student is enjoying the lesson in a relaxed and friendly environment, they will want to continue learning and succeeding in English.
