I've had several Spanish teachers, and Carmen stands out as the best. She has helped me to improve my speaking, writing and reading. Her material is lively and varied - we have studied songs, newspaper articles, poems and speeches - and she explains everything carefully and with patience. She is extremely knowledgeable in Spanish language and culture, and always teaches with a smile.
