As someone who has experienced individual & group classes (both in a language school and with Carmina) I can say with 100% certainty that the spike in my learning and confidence to speak the language more fluently has come from my classes with Carmina. She has an inherent ability to see where the student struggles and work through those areas both orally and in written exercises. Because she is fluent in english, she is able to help her students grasp the gramatical differences (between the 2 languages) and pinpoint the common errors and how to correct them. She has wonderful energy and a great sense of humor which allows for fun classes and a lot of interaction. I’ve had many “lightbulb moments” in class with her & her wonderful teaching style allows for not just learning Spanish but the culture as well. After 2 years, I consider her not only my teacher but my friend. Her passion for teaching is evident and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from her. Recommend 1000%!!

I've taken classes with Carmen for 2+ years. She is a phenomenal teacher! She has a deep understanding of languages ??and explains all grammar concepts very well. Also, she designs very dynamic classes with interesting and timely topics. She has helped me a ton with my Spanish! Plus, she's a super lovely person and fun to be around :)

I cannot rate Carmen high enough. Her professionalism and ability to adapt lessons for her students is outstanding. I started with weekly 1:1 sessions and now take part in conversational classes, with students of a similar ability. If you want to progress your Spanish at any level, then do contact Carmen.

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is kind, understanding and patient. She explains the difference between Spain Spanish and Latin American Spanish. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Spanish.
