Carola De La Torre

Hi there,

My name is Carola de la Torre Perez and I am native from Marbella.
My teaching experience, however, has been developed in Brighton the UK where I lived for 8 years.
I studied CELTA course in London for teaching Spanish to Adults and after I finished a degree to become a secondary teacher in MFL (Modern Foreign Languages for Spanish) in Brighton University.
During 8 years in Brighton I taught Spanish within the Adult Education departments of several colleges, as well as GCSE Spanish, which was very successful with students achieving excellent results.
I also gained vast experience and a different teaching perspective by providing online Skype courses teaching Spanish in companies such as American Express and Trip Advisor, privates tuitions.
Throughout this journey, I have dedicated a lot of time to designing my own resources and material whilst considering strategies of differentiation in order to accommodate my students´ needs.

I consider myself a conscientious and reliable person with a friendly, positive and enthusiastic approach to people.My lessons are engaging and flexible and my main focus is to keep students interested and motivated.
