A little about me... My education started in London where I studied Radiography, gaining the jargon of hospitals and medical terms, as well as academic speech for research and report writing.

I changed career and learned culinary arts, gaining a deeper understanding of hidden meanings in English by deciphering recipes, instructions and ingredient lists.

From here I moved into Counselling and Psychotherapy, gaining my qualification while working and volunteering with different organisations and people. This honed my natural traits like listening and patience into skills that are transferable to every walk of life.

I then worked in construction to take a break from studies and academia, to work my body and to get out into fresh air. Early this year I knew it was once again time to change. I went to visit my friend in Valencia, fell in love with the city and the people, and decided to become an English Teacher.

All this adds up to someone who has experienced many styles of teaching, insight into student experience and collected useful vocabulary and idioms for school, work and socialising.

My CELTA certificate allows me to share my experience and passion for learning with those wishing to communicate with a wider audience, connect with new people and put some magic into life.
