Cecilia Mendoza

My name is Cecilia Mendoza, and I am a native English speaker from Australia. Upon completing my studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia, where I majored in Language, and Psychology, I embarked on a fulfilling journey as an English teacher in Spain.

What truly sets me apart is my experience with students of all ages. From lively four-year-olds to motivated adults, I have had the opportunity to connect with individuals with all different levels and various stages of their English language journey. It brings me great joy to help my students achieve their English goals. I know that each student has unique motivations whether it be to learn English for travel and leisure, to advance in their careers or to prepare for exams.

I have a passion for teaching and I understand the unique challenges learning a language presents, and I make it my mission to equip my students with the necessary linguistic skills and strategies to succeed. I have 2 years experience working as an English teacher with a degree majoring in Spanish studies and Psychology. So I understand the process and challenges of learning a language. I have an English teaching certification from the TEFL institute and I have completed a young learners course from the Active Language Teacher training school.

My approach is to understand each individual's unique learning style and motivation. I want to know how you learn and what interests you to help you to engage and be interested in your learning process. By developing specific goals together I will also help you identify your potential and develop strategies to make you succeed. I’m looking forward to meeting you.
