I am a hardworking, self-motivated, passionate and conscientious teacher.

I am a native Spanish and very strong French speaker as well as speaking fluent Catalan. I speak fluent English having spent many years in England and my husband is English. I have previously provided professional translation services for English to Spanish and vice versa for events in Barcelona. I have a passion for languages which I have refocused on pursuing back in teaching over the last three to four years, as I find teaching very rewarding.

I have worked in the Spanish and British educational system in both secondary education and technical schools. This has provided me with a great understanding of students' needs in secondary school and in subsequent further education.

I have been a mentor for many students over recent years and find this pastoral part of modern teaching roles very rewarding too. During this I have been lucky enough to work with many different teachers and systems with different teaching styles, and have always found a way to ensure the teaching team works effectively and efficiently to provide a high-quality education to the students that enables them to grow their linguistic skills as well as growing as good, confident and caring adults.
