I believe learning should never be a chore but an exciting endeavour to look forward to, I like to use individual topics of interest even popular songs, tv series or films to base lessons around to engage my students. I believe we learn best when equipped with the tools needed then are placed into situations to utilise them; introducing a collection of new words at the beginning of each lesson through visual stimulus and repetition with focus on mastering correct pronunciation and progressing throughout the lesson to applying these words in a conversation setting. My experience in teaching is primarily in younger children but I am extremely excited to take on students of all ages, I am happy to assist and build upon english skills you already possess or to guide you on this journey from the very beginning. I am originally from England but have spent the majority of my life in Australia, I have taught english previously in Myanmar, Cambodia and Mexico .
