David Encalada Gonzalez

I have around three years of experience in teaching, via private classes, teaching small groups with different levels. I taught youngsters from 12 to 20-years-old mostly, although I also dealt with older students as well. I tend to work with Cambridge materials, currently preparing my students to get the Cambridge First Certificate. I focus on different skills, such as grammar and vocabulary through thorough explanations, if necessary, although I like my students to get familiar with these via self-discovery and personal interest. Text production is also part of my competencies, teaching techniques to make cohesive and coherent texts, taking care of content and register. Pronunciation and speaking skills are encouraged through a constant dialogue with learners, asking them questions about their units, doubts if any, formulating questions and generating answers in the process.
