Elena Santín

I am Elena Santin, a young journalist, native in both Spanish and Catalan - I am originally from Barcelona. I have been living in London for three years now. I have an undergraduate and a Masters in Journalism, and I currently work in Marketing, in the sustainability sector.

The past 6 years I have been tutoring languages (Spanish, Catalan and English) to primary and secondary students, but also to adults too. I've helped some of my students to prepare specific exams or certificates in those languages. I also have experience in teaching history and philosophy. I usually do on-line classes, especially since the pandemic and lockdowns, but I have experience with in person classes as well - I am happy to commute if necessary.

I always make sure to accommodate myself as much as possible to my students profile and requirements. I've actually tutored students with disabilities, such as dyslexia and hyperactivity. In general, I always take into account my students personality, age and character, so I can support them in the most effective and personal way when teaching - this is an essential part of tutoring as well.

Regarding my personality and lifestyle, I am a friendly and communicative young professional living in Ealing, West London. I love sports and nature, spending most of my free time doing these activities. I am also passionate about education and I love to help others, and that's how I became a private tutor 6 years ago, and I am definitely loving it!
