Elisa taught my toddlers music and was a pleasure to work with. Not only did she teach our children, but she also taught my husband and I about the importance of music education for young children and gave us the tools to make sure we continue to expose them to music. I found her really kind and professional. She always came prepared and did lots of pre-work to ensure the lessons ran smoothly. It is not easy to keep toddlers engaged, but she always found a way to keep them interested. I wholeheartedly recommend her classes! It’s a shame she is no longer based in Amsterdam or we would have continued with the lessons for sure!

Elisa's love of music is contagious. With great enthusiasm and a wealth of skills and expertise, Elisa taught me (violinist) to play string ensembles (duos, trios and quartets) on a next level. This made me realize again how cool it is to make music together. I was genuinely happy after every lesson and also intrinsically very motivated to study for the next one.

Soy violonchelista, Elisa ha formado a nuestro dúo, trío y cuarteto. Mejoró muchos aspectos de nuestro grupo: interpretación, ritmo, expresión. Ella siempre fue positiva y nos inspiró a pasar al siguiente nivel. Estábamos tan felices de tenerla como nuestra maestra.

Elisa taught my son (age 6) beginners violin. She's a fantastic teacher who inspired him with music and made lessons fun and interactive and I really recommend her. She kept his attention through different activities some using the violin and others using relevant arts, crafts and games that taught him about music and instruments: a perfect way to learn, tailored for his age. His violin lessons were the favourite part of his week. She's a skilled teacher and I've no doubt she would be great for older students who want to learn more technically, but I'm so happy she taught my son, who not only still loves the violin, but also enjoys singing, dancing and has an appreciation and deeper understanding of music from her teaching as a whole.

Very professional!! I learned a lot. And important also nice and sense of humour. I had 10 lessons in amsterdam. Will miss her. Carin hazelhoff
