Dear Hiring Manager,

I am a twenty-two-year-old recent graduate from Ireland, with excellent people skills and experience in working with groups and individuals of all ages in an instructing capacity. I have just relocated to Valencia.
I am a qualified TEFL instructor, with a Level 5 180 hour Highfield Certificate, regulated by Ofqual. As a fluent English speaker, with a degree that required the development of excellent communication and articulation skills, I have a highly proficient grasp of the English language. As well as my high level of fluency, I am also very sociable and find it easy to communicate and work well with colleagues and members of the public. I have a conversational level of Spanish also, as I studied Spanish throughout secondary school (Receiving a H2 in my final exams, which is the second highest grade). I am confident that my Spanish language skills will improve rapidly upon my relocation to Valencia, as through previous experience, my Spanish language acquisition expands and is bettered swiftly upon immersion in the language.
My previous work experience has lent me a range of skills that are relevant to the role I am applying for. I have worked for seven years as a swimming instructor to both adults and children, as well as instructing and more recently, co-ordinating children’s activity camps. I am able to plan lessons, and provide differentiated teaching methods to groups and individuals that allow for a productive and comprehensive learning environment. I am adaptable when working and have the ability to work under pressure. I have extensive experience in terms of class management and dealing with adverse behaviours and varying student needs. My administrative roles have developed my high organizational skills as well as being efficient and thorough when faced with deadlines and time sensitive schedules and planning. I have also now gained EFL classroom experience both teaching groups and conducting clases particulares upon my arrival in Valencia. I am happy to provide references upon request.
