Hey,

My name is Evan, I am form Ireland an English speaking native and I am currently based in La Sagrera, Barcelona. For course work I will be using Cambridge books that will be provided for all students, unless there is another request. All lessons will be in full English.

I have a level 8, business degree majoring in human resources with a psychology minor. Along with a 120 hour Tefl certificate and a 30 hour Tefl training course too. I have a total of four years experience teaching. Most recently I finished being a primary teacher in public schools for three years in Vietnam. Here I developed strong communication and relationship building skills in a diverse cross-cultural work environment. Leading into my current role for the past year as an English teacher online with Cambly and also working in a language center based here in Barcelona.

I have three years experience working for Emg education who are based in Ho Chi Minh City. Mainly in lower primary in grades 1, 2 and 4, ranging from ages six to ten. From Cambly I have then diversified into a variety of ages from primary, secondary to adults. Each element combing to create the teacher I am today. I enjoy creating a fun positive environment where students can enjoy the lesson. Creating an open relationship where students can challenge themselves without being intimidated. Becoming confident with making mistakes in English and to be the best that they can be while also enjoying the lesson too.
