Hello! My name is Gerry. I’m Colombian and I am currently living in Barcelona.

For me, learning a language is understanding each other and re discovering oneself constantly. It’s sharing with the world and tear down any sort of boundaries. That is why I love traveling and learning other languages because the world surprises me more and more and it makes be being a better person.

Being part of the ever-growing Spanish-speaking community has allowed me to be in touch with people from all over the world. And it is a pleasure for me to help people join us by being their guide in this learning journey.

I also love reading, bullet journaling and watch futbol games.

Learning a language is like a spiral in growth: it can only expand, everything is connected, everything is recycled, and nothing is wasted.

That is why, I make available to the student all possible tools to stimulate the 4 linguistic skills, to make them grow simultaneously. I present authentic documents, adapted to their centers of interest: newspapers, magazines, music, Netflix, etc. The Internet is vast and there are no borders.

Finally, I always encourage them to produce from the first class and to be persistent. I appreciate that they contribute with ideas, that they question me and above all, that they make mistakes without fear because their learning depends on that.
