MESSAGE IN ENGLISH:

Hi! I’m Gino, born in England with a recently acquired TEFL certificate. I’ve been working as an English teacher for less than a year but certainly enjoying every minute of my classes with students from all around the world!

The classes I offer are usually conversational in nature, but I am flexible to suit you. I generally prefer to introduce ourselves before the class begins, then during the class I will try and let you as the student speak for 70% of the time, that way you can maximize your English-speaking time!

Are you unsure about what to speak about? Here’s a suggestion: Why not choose an online article on any subject that interest you, we could even go through the lyrics of your favorite song together? Anything that interests you is fine, it will be fun!

I’m open to any suggestions you have, so don’t forget to provide me with positive feedback! Also why not ask me for areas you can improve in? I’ll keep a look out and tell you before the end of the class!

Soy profesor de inglés británico nativo con certificado TEFL, llevo trabajando en esta profesión menos de un año, pero disfrutando mucho poder hablar con alumnos de todas partes del mundo, mientras enseño también escucho y aprendo mucho de ellos

Normalmente prefiero presentarnos antes de empezar con la clase, y a la hora de reservar dejo que el alumno indique sus preferencias (introducción breve, corrección de errores, conversación libre o elegir un tema o un artículo web) ¿Cuál elegirías tú?

Durante la clase intento seguir la regla de 70/30, es decir, intentar dejar que la otra persona se exprese y que el 70% sea ella quien hable, aunque por supuesto yo también me expresaré y contestaré a las preguntas que me hagan a su vez

Trabajo mejor con alumn@s que ya tengan nivel de inglés suficiente para mantener una conversación sin problema, pero eso no debe de impedir a quien quiera apuntarse a probar mis clases, ya que les doy la primera gratis

Una sugerencia para los que quieren practicar a leer en inglés: elige artículos sobre un tema que te interese o incluso la letra de una canción favorita, y lo analizamos juntos! Siempre aprenderás mejor cuando el tema te interese

Por último no olvidemos el feedback - tanto para mi que para ti, es muy importante. Pídeme donde creo que puedas mejorar en tu uso del idioma, y después de una clase si ves algo que puedo hacer mejor, ¿por qué no comentarlo? Toda sugerencia se agradece
