James Gerard Duggan

My name is James and I have been an English teacher for 37years. I can use material given to me however I have a wealth of material gathered over the years so as to add a different flavour to my classes. I am extremely versatile as I have taught face to face,online and onthe phone. I have taught every kind of student , from kids to the elderly from business people to students preparing exams such as FCE and CAE . I like to talk with students about objectives and my goal is to reach this target in an interesting and fun way. I try to introduce games so that students relax and in this way they can enjoy learning and so that it does not become a boring task which they have to do, Speaking is very important and I try to get students participating as much as possible. I try to recommend ways that students can improve outside of the class such as watching series in V.O, listening to songs they really likes and reading books or articles which they can download from the internet. Basically I want learning to be worthwhile interesting and fun.
