James Lipka

I teach piano across all levels, from beginning to university level. The main aim is to teach students to love the instrument and its repertoire, and give them techniques that allow quick and effective study at home.

As a teacher I am patient and relaxed, with the teaching building upon your strengths and working on your weaknesses with specific techniques and exercises.

Above all, learning piano should be fun and productive!

Note: I am learning Spanish but I am not ready to teach in it.

Currently finishing PhD at Royal College of Music in London
Completed Masters in Piano Interpretation at Chopin University in Warsaw
Completed Bachelors in Composition at Leeds College of Music in Leeds.

I teach piano performance and accompany exams at all levels.
