Juan Manuel Ruiz Curcho

My name is Juan Manuel Ruiz. Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the English teacher postition. I have got a degree in English and I also have the Certificate of Advanced Level in English from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de La Orotava, Tenerife.
For the past five years I have taught English in Madrid at “La Academia de Inglés” where I have worked with children, adolescents and adults. I am a goal-oriented professional and I always strive to create a positive classroom environment. This motivates students to communicate in English successfully. My lessons are customized to the learner´s needs and interests.
Some of my teaching highlights include:
• Worked collaboratively with other teachers to maintain a nurturing classroom environment in order to improve communication skills.

• Prepared students for Flyers, Movers, KET, PET. FCE, and Advanced Cambridge examinations.
