With two years of experience in education and a deep passion for fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment, I am eager to help you reaching your goals.
In my previous role of working in a British International School, I held several positions, including Head of the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Department, French teacher, Cover teacher, and Physical Education (P.E.) teacher.
As a P.E. teacher, I developed and implemented lesson plans for students from Year One to Year Six, catering to diverse learning needs and abilities. I fostered a supportive atmosphere where students developed their gross and fine motor skills while learning the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall wellbeing.
Additionally, as the EAL Lead, I developed and implemented strategies to support students with minimal English language skills in accessing the curriculum. Through targeted interventions and collaboration with colleagues, I created a learning environment that enabled EAL students to thrive both academically and socially.
I also have extensive experience teaching French and serving as a Cover teacher for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (ages 5 to 11). As a French teacher, I created interactive lessons to teach vocabulary and grammar, incorporating songs to improve pronunciation.
As a Cover teacher, I taught various subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and Geography, ensuring continuity of learning during the main teacher's absence, sometimes for extended periods.
My experience in these roles has honed my ability to differentiate instruction effectively and ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.
