As an TEFL (teach english as a foreign language) teacher, I believe it is important that I don't just teach the language but the culture of the language. I make sure I tailor the lesson to the student's needs and interest. As an TEFL (teach english as a foreign language) teacher, I believe it is important that I don't just teach the language but the culture of the language. I make sure I tailor the lesson to the student's needs and interest. For example, if a student is interested in games, I will use gaming as the main theme and tailor my lesson around the student's interest. With this I will ensure the student will learn the content but at the same time have fun learning English.

I am bilingual in Chinese, I went to a Chinese primary school in Malaysia and continue my studies of Chinese in High School. I have some experience in teaching Chinese to new student through the use of HSK level books. I can speak, read, listen and write Chinese. Additionally, I have lived in China for 15 months where I have experience in adapting to the Chinese culture.
