Kiyary Do

I am a knowledge-hungry learner and I am seeking to develop my abilities, aptitudes and attitudes based on my knowledge and experience, in a efficiently and effectively manner, framed on solid principles and values of responsibility, respect, ethics, solidarity, and teamwork.

I am an professional artist. Peruvian, English and Spanish ancestry, raised and lived in the U.S.A. all my childhood, teenager and young adulthood years. I moved to Madrid to study Fine Arts in UCM , moved to Asturias for the beauty of the landscape.

I give English classes to all sorts of levels, worked for the last two years as an English teacher at Kids&Us, and as an art teacher at Crearte; and as an English teacher for the last four years at AECC. I also give private classes to children and adults. I give Art classes in English, or art-related English classes since art is my major. I have worked as a MTPE at a market research company. Translating and correcting translations made for scrips, focus groups, interviews, market research studies, blogs, etc.. In the past years I’ve been working with several companies and adults (one on one) on a more business oriented English.

Experience in teaching young and adults of various native languages. Studied and lived abroad in The U.S.A. Worked in different summer camps in the USA, Peru and Spain. Done mostly English based arts and crafts classes for young children, aged 4 to twelve. Native in English as well as in Spanish, with high level of French.

Experience teaching adults of various ages and helping them gain confidence when communicating in English, and preparing them for different exams (first, cambridge, B1, B2, C1, C2, TOFL, etc); job interviews and different industry oriented English classes (Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Business, Accounting, etc).
