Over a decade that I have been lecturing, I have come to appreciate that life (including teaching) is a seed and one good turn deserves another (because teaching has been personally rewarding to me), hence I am very mindful of how I relate with my students.
I have taught at various levels of education (e.g. Primary, Junior High School, Secondary and University). Specifically, I have taught English Language, Management and Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management. One of my philosophies in teaching is that it has to be learner-centered.
I have also traveled to the USA, UK, Italy and interacted with people from different cultures.
Some of my duties as an English Teacher include;
Teaching students whose first language is not English, but who use it as a lingua
franca or language of study.
? Introducing conversational English and audiovisual learning activities to help
ESL students improve on their writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
? Teaching IGCSE English literature YEAR 7, 8 and 9.
Teaching and simplifying what students may find it complicated during lecture
hours.
? Examining students through quizzes and tests during tutorials sessions and preparing
students well for semester examinations by assisting them in solving past
questions.
? Assisting lecturers in conducting research on a pertaining topic
Teaching and setting examination questions for students according to the
syllable of the school.
? Preparing and submitting continuous assessment and examination results to the
headteacher in time.

On the whole, I feel very proud and humbled when after years of leaving my class, some of my students would describe my class as one of ‘sharing knowledge’ in an ‘unintimidated environment’ which helped a lot of my students to occupy strategic positions in their field of work.
