Louis Verwey

Native Teacher with University degrees and diplomas in teaching and more than 10 years of experience, teaching English as a second language. I have experience at university level but teach all levels: Cambridge PET, First, Advanced and Proficiency. I also teach at other exam levels for example the EOI exams. I specialize in speaking and help also students who need to write. I can prepare students for interviews and could help them get that job they really want.

My way of teaching is relaxed and informal but professional. I assess the student before continuing classes and I make sure that their needs are met. It is important for me to plan how we will be doing our classes. Conversational classes are very good to learn a language, but most of the time you need a balance between all aspects of the language, like speaking, writing, listening and vocabulary. I make sure that my students get this perfect balance.

I am a dedicated and systematic teacher who is responsible and take my job seriously, but I also know that learning a language should be fun.
