When I was looking for a Spanish teacher, I realised that what would work well for me was someone who: 1. Is of course highly experienced and skilled 2. Has plenty of patience in a friendly, supportive approach 3. Is very good (and ideally is exceptional) at understanding and adapting their approach and style to each student I have been delighted to find that Luciana Chessa is all of these and more. When I think back over all the teaching I've had in my life: through school, through advanced flight training (leading to NATO fast jet flying) and tons of professional development training, Luciana is easily in the "best of the best" category. I am extremely grateful to have found her and I owe her a huge debt of thanks for all the time she has taken with me to walk me through the ins and outs of learning Spanish. I can heartily recommend her without any hesitation whatsoever and I am quietly confident that anyone would benefit greatly from her teaching.

Luciana is AMAZING! She was born to be a teacher! Every class she came prepared with lots of material and I was able to learn and understand quickly. She is super friendly and was keen on helping me integrate here in Valencia! I can not recommend her highly enough.

De verdad y de mi corazon, Lu ha sido la profesora de que he estado buscando durante casi un año. Es increiblemente amable, muy simpatica y hace exactamente lo que tu quieras hacer en las clases. Ella realamente escucha de lo que tu quieras de las clases. No hace cosas solo para hacerlas. Para mi, no queria hacer nada con papeles ni libros - solo queria hablar y repasar gramatica hablando, y ella las hace tan divertido las clases. Es una estrella, no puedo recomendarla mas.

I've been having classes with Luciana for a couple of months now and I couldn't recommend her enough. Not only is she a lovely and warm person, she tailors lessons exactly to your needs. In my case, for instance, I speak Italian so I understand a lot of Spanish but have difficulties producing language. Luciana has been helping me with this, and I can feel my confidence growing each week. Other positives - Luciana is very flexible when it comes to class times, will meet wherever you want, and is always on time and prepared. In sum, a great teacher!
