My name is Camilla and I am from Toronto, Canada, and have been living in Madrid, Spain for 1 year.

After finishing my Bachelor's degree at the school of Creative Industries in Toronto, I moved to Madrid to explore my interest in teaching English as a Second Language. After completing my TEFL certification, I started teaching at an English academy here in Madrid.

I am proficient at communicating complex information in a simple, natural, and entertaining manner. I always cater my materials and activities to the needs and goals of my students, thus making the curriculum more easily accessible to all types of learners.

I value the importance of a communicative-based approach to teaching through conversation and open discussion. To achieve this, creating a safe space so that my students feel heard, encouraged, and supported is crucial to my teaching methodology.
