Good day!

My name is Maica.
I'm an English teacher.
I 've been living in Spain for 10 years now . I have a BA degree in Psychology and Spanish Language.
Recently I completed a Masters in Teaching English as a Foreign language.

I have worked in private schools, Sek Alboran, Liceo Mediterraneo, teaching all levels of the Cambridge curriculum for the last 10 years and I would like to apply my knowledge as a private teacher now.


I was born in Spain but emigrated when I was 3 years old with my parents. I am fully bilingual.

I try to create an environment that is as close as possible to a native school classroom. All the conversation is in English as well as the instruction.
I am quite happy to adapt the class to the learners' needs by using the translation method ,Content language integrated learning or the method that best works for you.
Since the pandemic I have been teaching Business English online successfully. I teach all levels from B1 General Business English to Advanced and Proficiency.
My students are from companies such as Orange,Mutua Madrileña, Deloitte,Veolia to name but a few.

Initially I like doing a short questionnaire to get to know my learners' needs and learning strategies.

I am based in Roquetas de Mar.
For the online lessons I use a variety of platforms,Teams,Meet,Skype, Zoom and WebEx.
